Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Detox website (the "Site") and booking services offered by Detox ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access the Site or book our services. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
• If you book for a group, you confirm that everyone in it accepts these Terms and our Booking Terms, and you are responsible for the details you give us for them.
• Please give us accurate names, ages, contact details and any health or accessibility needs, so we can plan a trip that suits everyone.

• An enquiry through our website, phone or WhatsApp is not a booking. We reply with a written quote for your dates.
• Your booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit and send a written confirmation. Payment dates, cancellation charges and refunds are set out in our Booking Terms (detoxhospitality.com/booking-terms).
• Prices on our website are per person, based on two people sharing a room, unless a package says per couple or per skier. They include 5% GST and are starting prices: your quote gives the exact price for your dates and the hotels you choose.
• If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we will tell you before you book. Once your booking is confirmed, the price doesn't change, unless taxes or government fees change.

• Carry a valid government photo ID. You're responsible for the permits, registrations and health certificates your trip needs. We tell you what's required and help you get them.
• Treks, high passes and yatras involve altitude, long walks and changeable weather. Tell us about any medical conditions, and follow the advice of your guide, trek leader or driver.
• Respect local laws, customs and places of worship of every faith.
• We strongly recommend travel insurance. It's required for treks, ski courses and bike trips.

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy and our Booking Terms explain the charges if you cancel or change a trip, what happens if weather or road closures affect your plans, and how refunds are paid.

Some parts of a trip are run by others, such as shrine boards, airlines and gondola operators, and follow their own rules. We tell you about these before you book.

All content featured on the Site, including our brand names (Detox, Detox Hospitality), logo designs, graphics, code, layouts, database structures and travel guides, is the intellectual property of Detox Hospitality and is protected under national and international copyright and trademark laws.

This doesn't include photos by other photographers. We use them under their licences and credit them in the footer of our website; they remain the property of their owners.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our website without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Detox provides its platform and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of Liability: Detox, its directors, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform or booking services.

Governing Law: These Terms and any booking conducted through the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jammu & Kashmir.
